    Day 1 Arrive Beijing (-/-/-)

    Welcome to Beijing! Upon Arrival, you are greeted and helped transfer to check into the hotel.

    Day 2 Beijing (B/L/-)

    Today’s sightseeing visits the imposing Tian’anmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace with a cruise on placid Lake Kunming (weather permitting).

    • Tian’anmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125 foot granite obelisk, Monument to the Peoples Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.
    • Forbidden City, which is the largest palace structure in the world and the place where China’s emperors ruled for over 600 years.
    • Summer Palace, built in 1888, it was once a summer retreat and the imperial for emperors. Have a lakeside cruise on the lovely Kunming Lake, enjoy the magical views of the hills, bridges and pagodas that grace the Palace grounds.

    Day 3 Beijing (B/L/-)

    Walk along the ancient ramparts of the renowned Great Wall today. Visit a cloisonné factory and observe the skilled artisans create intricate designs. Then stroll along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs.

    • Great Wall, spending about 1.5 hours to be transferred outside city to the surrounding countryside to visit the Badaling Great Wall, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind, built over 2,000 years ago. You will be able to climb and walk one of the best preserved sections of the ancient wall, admiring the splendid mountains scenery.
    • Sacred Way, which is a path lined with stone statues of animals, mystical beasts and officials who will serve the emperor in the afterlife.
    • Ming Tombs, the resting places of thirteen emperors and their splendid treasures, passing down the Spirit Way, a road lined with statues of dignitaries, as well as huge elephants, lions, camels and horses, you will encounter the marble tombs of the Ming Dynasty emperors.

    Day 4 Beijing / Xian (B/L/-)

    This morning is free. Perhaps take an optional tour via old-fashioned pedicab to explore Beijing’s ancient narrow streets, known as Hutongs. After lunch fly to Xi’an.

    • Hutongs, are a kind of ancient city alley or lane that is typical in Beijing. Most of them are found around the Forbidden City, and many were built during the three dynasties of Yuan, Ming and Qing. Today, the Hutong is a living museum of Beijing history showing the traditional lifestyle of Beijing people.

    Day 5 Xi’an (B/L/D)

    View the famed Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, no two alike, buried for over 2200 years; Circle Vision Movie; Bronze Chariot. Then on to visit the ancient City Wall, the Bell Tower and the Big Goose Pagoda. This evening you’re our guest at the Tang Dynasty Theatre’s fabulous dinner and show.

    • Terracotta Army, is like a treasure house of QIN Dynasty’s military affairs, Science and technology, art and culture. It has been listed as an UNESCO “World Heritage Site”.
    • Ancient City Wall, was built in the 14th century at the request of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang (the first emperor of Ming Dynasty), the ancient wall of Xi’an is one of the oldest landmarks of the city. It is also the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
    • Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384. Then in 1582, it was moved to its present pivotal position, for rebuilding and later restorations. With magnificent carved beams and painted rafters, this classical building is truly elegant.
    • Big Goose Pagoda is situated at south of the Xi’an city, as one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xi’an City.

    Day 6 Xian to Chongqing (B/L/-)

    After breakfast, out to visit the famed Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum. Then,fly to Chongqing and board your deluxe President Cruise Ship and settle into your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable cruise downstream.

    • Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum, is an architecture of Tang style, “Hall in center, storied buildings in corners”, elegant and dignified, magnificent scale, combination of traditional architecture and modern science, which completely embodied folk tradition, local feature, and epoch spirit.

    Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)

    Set sail in the morning. Time to explore the ship’s many facilities before afternoon arrival at Fengdu. An ashore excursion takes you to see Fengdu’s many Taoist Temples.

    • Fengdu, Ghost City, is called “Home of The Chinese Divine Comedy”. It is an artistic treasury of local tradition and culture which is blended with Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Ghost City resembles the justice system of human society to build a strict nether world with the functions of arrestment, detainment, interrogation, judgement and education. The entire area of Ghost City is covered with green trees and exquisite buildings.

    Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)

    Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge ,framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shennong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

    • Shennong Stream, is one of the most important ports of call for Yangtze Three Gorges tour. The scenery in the stream looks quite majestic, precipitous and secluded. The banks are settled by Tujia ethnic groups. The natural beauty and local color of Shennong stream have attracted the interest of all the visitors.

    Day 9 Yichang / Shanghai (B/L/-)

    This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Continue on to Yichang where you board your early afternoon flight to Shanghai. On arrival, transfer to your hotel to check in.

    • Three Gorges Dam, is a hydroelectric dam that regarded as historic engineering, social and economic success, with the design of state-of-the-art large turbines. It’s the one of the largest dams in the world, and also attracts tourists because it combines modern project, nature scenery and cultural landscapes.

    Day 10 Shanghai (B/L/-)

    Today’s tour shows the Shanghai Museum‘s collection of cultural artifacts, emporiums of Nanjing or Huaihai RoadJade Buddha Temple and the fabled Bund.

    • Shanghai Museum, this is a large-scale museum of Chinese ancient art and cultural relics.With a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics, the museum especially characterize bronzes, chinawares, calligraphies and paitings.
    • Nanjing Road, 5km long , it is one of the main business centres.
    • Huaihai Road, is a charming six-km stretch with almost 400 shops.
    • Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1918, it is one of the main touristic highlights of Shanghai and it’s also the most famous active temples in China.
    • The Bund, it holds the landscape of Shanghai and is one of Shanghai’s must-see tourist destination. In late 19th century, many foreign-invested banks in the Bund were established in the Bund which was said to become Shanghai’s “Financial Street” or “the East Wall Street”. Thus, the Bund was transformed into a location encouraging financial opportunities. Due to the rich historical value of the Bund, possessing a piece of land in the Bund is not merely a symbol of wealth, but also a symbol of honour.

    Day 11 Shanghai / Guilin (B/L/-)

    Day 12 Guilin (B/L/-)

    A deluxe cruise on air-conditioned boat along the Li River to Yangshuo gives you a chance to absorb the exceptional beauty of the valley, resembling an old scroll come to life.

    • Li River Cruise, connecting Guilin city and Yangshuo , this beautiful river offers a fantastic scenery of extraordinary peaks and sprays that makes you were in fairyland when you are taking the cruise downstream from Guilin to Yangshuo. Paint Brush Hill, Cock-Fighting Hills , Mural Hill, kinds of spots named as in Chinese habit, with your imagination, you will find unimaginable fascination.

    Day 13 Guilin / Departure (B/L/-)

    This morning, see dramatic rock formations at FuBo Hill and Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.

    • Fubo Hill, is a classical scenic spot in Guilin with offering a lovely view of the town.
    • Reed Flute Cave, known as “the Palace of Natural Arts” ,it is the largest Karst landform cave in Guilin. Offering an extraordinary scenery of underground Karst landform with lots of stalactites , stalagmites and kinds stones of other figures. It is the Journey ro the Centre of the Earth.
